Our team includes engineers, researchers, and students from different backgrounds and disciplines

CHIH HUNG CHANG

FOUNDER

Dr. Chih-hung Chang is a Professor at the School of Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering, Oregon State University. Chih-hung is an expert on scalable nanomanufacturing; his group reported the first inkjet-printed amorphous oxide TFTs and CIGS solar cells. He also jointly invented Microreactor-Assisted Nanomaterial Deposition, a technique that the Society of Manufacturing Engineers recognized as the 2011 SME “Innovations That Could Change the Way You Manufacture” Watch List. Chih-hung was a SHARP Labs of America Scholar, an Intel Faculty Fellow, and a recipient of US National Science Foundation’s CAREER award, and awardees of W.M. Keck Foundation and Walmart Manufacturing Innovation Foundation. Chih-hung is a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. He has more than 150 refereed publications and 15 issued patents. Chih-hung is a co-founder and director of Pellucere Technologies Inc. and an Editor of IEEE J. of Photovoltaics.

Dr. V. VINAY K. DODDAPANENI

CO-FOUNDER

Dr. V. Vinay K. Doddapaneni is a research associate  at the school of Chemical, Biological, and Enironmental Engineering at Oregon State University. He graduated with Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering  from Oregon State University in 2023 and with a MS degree in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University in 2016. His research interests are in vapor-based Microreactor-Assisted Nanomaterial Deposition, semi-conductor device fabrication, additive manufacturing,  frugal twins and self-driving labs for materials discovery.

ALVIN CHANG

CO-FOUNDER/CHIEF OPERATION OFFICER

Alvin Chang is a PhD student at the school of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at Oregon State University. He graduated with BS degrees in Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Oregon State University in 2019 and with a MS degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University in 2022. His research interests are in vapor-based Microreactor-Assisted Nanomaterial Deposition and electrochemical properties of transition metal chalcogenide materials.

SOMAYEH PASEBANI

CHIEF TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Dr. Pasebani was selected for NSF CAREER Award, focused on understanding the joining mechanisms in dissimilar metal additive manufacturing.  Further, she is serving as lead PI on a U.S. Department of Energy (U.S. DOE) project studying large-scale net-shape oxide dispersion strengthened (ODS) alloy part manufacturing for harsh environments using oxide doping in the laser directed energy deposition (LDED). She published more then 50 peer reviewed articles and holds 5 patents.
